Daren Scholes

The MD of QR Sport, Daren has been in the automotive industry for most of his working career, starting off managing a workshop before joining forces with Jan to build QR Sport. He loves racing or track days in his Mk2 Golf, or driving down to the south coast of France… When not found in the garage, he’s normally at the local circuit, Oulton Park.

Nick Warbrook

Nick started his working as an apprentice engineer at Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope, but his passion of cars led him into a career in the automotive world of motorsport and performance road cars, for over 20 years. Happy with the spanners on his Mk2 Golf race car or behind the desk at QR Sport! Nick also has a Renault Spider for trackdays and is rebuilding an old TDR 250 motorbike. Motorsport holiday of choice is the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.

Will Chesters

Will started off working with the spanners in a HGV garage but soon realised that wasn’t for him. He loves the auto industry though and his business administration apprenticeship at QR Sport allows him to work with his interest in cars in a cleaner environment! Although its lacking a few cylinders for serious power, his VW Polo looks the part with Eibach lowering springs, new S3 style alloys and rear privacy glass.

Jan Van Neirop

One of the founders of QRS, Jan has been in the auto industry all his life and has a vast amount of knowledge af most makes and models. He’s worked at Porsche, BMW and Mercedes dealers. Although he’s Dutch, his passion is German cars, or Audi to be specific. He currently owns and runs an Audi 80 historic Dutch touring car, competing in touring car races, sprints and trackdays. Just like Leigh, Jan loves cars and motorsport, and when he’s not driving his own race car, then he’s often racing other cars like Jaguar E-Types and Ariel Atoms…

Leigh Pratt

Leigh loves cars and motorsport. All of them. If you chop him in half, all you would see is cars running around inside – GTs, historic, race or rally. Leigh is currently building a Honda Civic rally car, and owns an Impreza and Escort rally cars. His road car is an M3, and if he’s not working on cars, he’s normally at Le Mans or Goodwood. As we said, Leigh loves cars….

Charlie Davies

Charlie has been with QRS over 3 years, since the beginning of his motor vehicle apprenticeship. Now fully qualified, flying through all 3 levels, Charlie is able to do all servicing and repair work, and is currently studying for his MOT test card. In his spare time, Charlie likes modifying his road car and has built a Fiesta trackday car, complete with roll cage, coilover suspension, race seats and harnesses. He frequently supports Jan and Leigh on motorsport events.
