QRS Auto Service are independent servicing and repair specialists for all VW Audi group vehicles and a Bosch Approved Service Centre for all makes and models. QRS carries out routine servicing and MOTs, parts replacement and fitting, tyre supply & fitting and all other vehicle repairs.

At QRS we use genuine or OE specification parts for servicing or repair. We are registered with all Manufacturers that use the new Digital Service Records so we are able to update vehicle service records directly to the manufacturers online database ensuring vehicle records are up to date. We stock many parts, and have a database and working relationships with many parts suppliers to enable us to source nearly any part required – standard or performance specification.

Technically, cars have changed a lot over the years, and in particular over the last 10 years with the advance in electronics and on-board monitoring of complicated systems. At QRS we have the latest diagnostic computer systems to diagnose faults.

After a thorough inspection, our experienced technicians will connect our diagnostic equipment, enabling them to read any current or stored fault codes. With this information and their experience of fault code analysis, they can give an informed judgement on the problem along with a suggestions of repair. If relevant, they will also inform you of any vehicle changes or upgrades that you may find useful at the time.

Typically a diagnostic check is £45 Inclusive of VAT.

Correct wheel alignment ensures that the tyres are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other and that on a level straight road your car will travel in a true straight line.

Wheel alignment or tracking is one of the key tyre maintenance factors to ensure optimum performance, even tyre wear and a maximised tyre life.

An accurate alignment also provides safe and predictable vehicle control and road holding alongside a smoother and more comfortable ride.


Tracking or 4 Wheel Laser Alignment, what’s right for me?

Tracking
Concentrates only on the front axle “Toe” setting, this option does not take into consideration Camber, Caster or any settings on the rear Axle.

4 Wheel Laser Alignment
Is considered as a full geometry set-up and measures, Camber, Caster and Toe on both front and rear axles ensuring optimum alignment comparing true readings against manufacturer specific data sheets we can have your vehicle feeling as new in no time, This option is fully digital and includes a before and after printout upon completion.

A full 12 Point Alignment set-up at QRS costs just £85 and typically takes 1 – 1.5 Hours to complete, Don’t forget a waiting area is available

MOT

Class 4 & Class 7

We offer the very latest in state of the art technology for MOT testing. Along with a comfortable waiting reception area with a TV so you can watch your car being tested, you’ll find the whole experience relaxing in the knowledge that you’re in the hands of professionals.

All our MOT testing engineers are rigorously trained and tested by VOSA to their very latest requirements.

If your car fails the MOT test, we will advise you on what is required along with costs and discuss any other work advised on.

There is no service schedule for my air con, When should it be done?
Your quiet right air conditioning isn’t included in your vehicles annual service, As a general guide we would highly recommend a recharge once every 2 years for optimum performance.

Did you know Air Conditioning is also useful in the winter?
It’s true! asides from keeping the cabin temperatures down in the summer Air Conditioning is also widely used for de-misting the windscreens during a winters morning…

This works due air con systems emitting warm dry air, whereas regular auxiliary heating emits humid ambient air clearing the windscreen much slower than if used via the A/C.
